Praxis, Intercession and Collective Health: Abílio da Costa-Rosa, or true passions for Psychoanalysis

  • Gustavo Henrique Dionisio Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho"

Abstract

The texts that make up this special issue of our Journal of Psychology at Unesp are dedicated as thoroughly as possible to continuing the brilliant work that Abílio da Costa-Rosa (1952-2018) - master and doctor in Social Psychology at USP, free- professor at Unesp-Assis, psychoanalyst and institutional analyst - developed throughout his career in the Clinical Psychology department at Unesp-Assis. Abilio was a tireless activist in the context of Collective Health, and trained countless workers in the same spirit, and that across a bridge that goes from the famous office of Novo Horizonte (São Paulo capital), where he worked for some good years as a psychoanalyst, until room 1 of our humble department, perhaps his main stage for classes and supervision.
